BRAVA Magazine announces addition of three new employees

BRAVA MAGAZINE ANNOUNCES ADDITION OF THREE NEW EMPLOYEES
Two past members of the Brava Magazine sales team return to their roots
Madison, Wis., March 29, 2010 — BRAVA Enterprises, LLC is proud to announce the addition of three new employees to its business development team.
Brenda Peterson, formerly of Wisconsin Woman Magazine, and Lee Acker, formerly with Dane County Lifestyles—both locally produced magazines by O’Gara Publishing—have joined the sales team of BRAVA as of today. Both Peterson and Acker are former BRAVA Magazine employees.
In April 2009, Erickson Publishing, LLC stopped production of BRAVA Magazine and its event, the Madison Women’s Expo. A core group of employees worked together to bring BRAVA back under new ownership and have been publishing BRAVA Magazine since August 2009.
“It’s an exciting time for us at BRAVA,” says publisher and partner, Laura Houlihan. “We have always felt our team is a family. Splitting up last April was very difficult on all of us. To welcome Lee and Brenda back into our family just feels right.”
In addition to adding Brenda and Lee to our team, BRAVA Enterprises, LLC is also pleased to announce the addition of Kris Lerdahl to the business development team. A Madison native, Kris comes to us with an extensive background in sales and management.
BRAVA Enterprises, LLC is a locally owned and operated company dedicated to bringing area women and businesses together through its print magazine, BRAVA, and supporting Web site, bravamagazine.com.
Each November, BRAVA hosts the annual Madison Women’s Expo, an exciting weekend that gathers celebrity guests, local businesses and local women at Exhibition Hall at the Alliant Energy Center for two days of pampering, shopping, camaraderie and more. In addition to the Madison Women’s Expo, BRAVA is set to host the ALL NEW Expo for kids and babies in February 2011.
