How Brownies and Wine Got Me Through a Life Altering Experience

Life is unpredictable and sometimes when we become stuck in a rut the universe will give us a push whether we want it or not. It is up to us to figure out what to do with the change that has been thrust upon us and how to pick ourselves up from a sometimes difficult position.  We learn from others before us how to move on and push through adversity. How do you rise again?  Brownies and wine help a lot.

Metamorphosis Of A Misfit: The Power of Tribe

In our busy-ness, we’ve lost sight of the vital importance of tribe. We struggle with; how to connect, where to connect, and making time and energy for the power of tribe. Imagine experiencing, deep connection, that incredible feeling of support, acceptance, encouragement and inspiration. Some of us may struggle to remember the last time we felt this. Together, we’ll co-create an experiential odyssey of remembering who our tribe is and how to connect with them.  We’re stronger, more productive and resilient with tribe. No matter what variety of Misfit, you consider yourself to be - there’s a tribe waiting to welcome, love and inspire you, to achieve your dreams.

Be Your Own Superhero

You don't have to leap tall buildings or run faster than a speeding train to be a superhero. We all possess superhero characteristics, but often fail to recognize, or forget to embrace them. This presentation combines the compelling personal stories of how Beth Kille, Jen Farley and Shawndell Marks discovered their unique powers and processed them through songwriting. Participants will be entertained and inspired by the frank discussion of life's struggles and will leave with tips and techniques to find their purpose, recognize their own “Justice League” and lean in to adversity. And, oh yes, there will be dancing.

Presented by Gin, Chocolate & Bottle Rockets (Beth Kille, Shawndell Marks and Jen Farley)
